my bamboo project

I've been writing a little bit about my bamboo project and here are some early images of the work in progress. I am super excited, but at a stand still until the following things happen: 1. I buy more paint, 2. I buy a blender, 3. You all keep pooping, wiping, and saving toilet paper rolls for me. Here's to new recycled projects... woohoo!

I have a camera again.

The things in my life are getting smaller, like my cell phone, my computer, my new camera, and me. This is the year of 2000mine. Last year I worked hard to find myself, to resolve past traumas and break down old demons as well as remember all the things about myself and the people I love. With the new smaller lifestyle I lead, today I was able to go out and take some shots. Here is some visual documentation of my life and the things I love and look forward to seeing more of.

my new painting

I did this right before I left for Vermont. Also working on a bamboo forest for my bedroom made up of toilet paper rolls and handmade paper leaves. This bamboo project is on-going, look for it in future posts.

home again, home again, jiggity jig

I safely returned to Portland and the sun came out the next day. Above are the things I looked forward to seeing and some things I saw and didn't even know would exist upon my return. I was surprised to look out my window this morning and not see snow. I miss you Vermont, see you soon.
