After a week of being sick, being visited, changing jobs, eating good food, and going non-stop, I sat by myself long enough this morning to take a couple self-portraits. I guess I use this to let people know how I'm doing, and visual representation is sometimes the best. As you can tell from the pictures, my mood is currently: tired. <3 Leah

they call me cupcakes

I went out to a work party the other night for our 1 year anniversary, and found myself face-down in the toilet with the green remnants of frosting late in the evening, form now on "they" will call me cupcake. On another note, I made another cupcake. Here's some shots of it.

On the light front, I went to hippo hardware randomly and took some cell phone snap shots. They have an ever growing cemetery of lights from all the ages. Thought it was pretty neat. Hope you enjoy.

Cupcakes have always been my favorite birthday present; I can never get enough of them in my life really, then I started knitting them. I made up a pattern in my head, having never made one before, and here are two that I created in the last 2 weeks. One was a gift and the other was commissioned. If you have a special day that's coming up, and want to give the gift of food that will last forever, gimme a day or two notice, and I will create a special cakie for your special friend.

After scrolling through several different groupings of photos, I found that I had been obsessively clicking shots of Miss Mady Hampton and realized that she had become my muse. There Is something with the combination of her hair, her blues, and the fact that I always see her in somewhat of a sunny setting that is intriguing and eye catching.
